RPT-COLUMN-U.S. petroleum fills the gap left by Russia exports: Kemp
The United States has become a large net exporter of petroleum in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the subsequent disruption of Russia's oil exports, helping relieve shortages in Europe and Asia. U.S. product exports have accelerated to a record in recent weeks while crude imports have decelerated to the slowest rate for decades, according to data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). The United States became a net exporter of almost 3 million barrels per day in mid-April, a sharp turn around from net imports of more than 1 million bpd in the weeks before the invasion. ..
